1) Introduction

We are pleased to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest.

Below you will find information about the accessibility of our online services.

We inform you about

  • what services and functions you can expect on this website,
  • how you can utilize these services and functions,
  • what options for accessible use are available to you, and
  • which authority is responsible for monitoring the accessibility of this website.

2) Services and Functions of this Website

This website is an online shop for the sale of goods and digital content.

Goods here refer to physical items.

Digital content, on the other hand, refers to data or datasets that are created and provided in digital form.

You will find products presented here that can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then ordered and paid for bindingly.

This website has a header and a footer menu.

The header menu lists the products we sell by categories and can be accessed individually from there.

Each product is described on its own detail page with additional information about its essential features, the scope of delivery, and the total price. From there, it can be added to the electronic shopping cart.

Additionally, the electronic shopping cart can be accessed through the header menu once you have added at least one product to it. From this cart, the electronic ordering process can be initiated and completed.

In the footer menu, you will find links to our imprint with our contact information, as well as information about the legal basis of our online services, delivery and payment options, and links to other helpful service pages.

3) Explanations on Using the Services and Functions

3.1 Virtual Buttons

This website can be operated via virtual buttons.

3.2 Home, Overview, and Detail Pages

On the homepage, you will find a selection of offered products in the central area of the page. By interacting with a product presentation, you will be taken to the product detail page.

In the header menu, you can navigate between different product categories.
After selecting a category, you will reach an overview page where all products in that category are displayed.

By interacting with a product presentation on the overview page, you will again be taken to the product detail page.

The product detail pages contain, in addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, a quantity selection element and a shopping cart button if applicable.

If available, the desired order quantity can be specified via the quantity selection.

3.3 Electronic Shopping Cart

By pressing the shopping cart button, you add the product (if applicable in the selected quantity) to the electronic shopping cart.

This electronic shopping cart can be accessed at any time via the header menu.

Here, you can first review the added products. Via corresponding buttons, products can be removed or, if applicable, the order quantity can be changed.

3.4 Electronic Ordering Process

After reviewing, you can complete the electronic ordering process by interacting with the corresponding buttons.

For this, you will first be asked to provide your contact details (at least name, email address, and delivery or billing address) via an input form.

Then, in the next step, you can choose between the available delivery or service options.

Finally, you can decide on one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment details, and complete the order.

The binding submission of the order occurs only when the designated button on the final order page is pressed. It is labeled "Buy", "Buy Now", "Order with Payment Obligation", or another unambiguous wording.

Before pressing this order button, you can always navigate back to the previous steps using your browser's "Back" button and/or cancel the ordering process at any time.

If you have chosen to pay with an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the payment provider's system to make the payment.

4) Legal Requirements for Accessibility

This website, as an online shop, falls under the so-called "services in electronic commerce" and features an electronic ordering and payment option.

Special legal requirements for accessibility apply to it.

In general, this website must provide functions and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable operation with digital aids.

The online shop functions of this website must be designed to be

  • perceivable
  • operable
  • understandable, and
  • robust.

Perceivability means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they are easily perceivable by all users.

Operability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with mobility or cognitive impairments.

Understandability means that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easily recognizable, and unambiguous.

Robustness finally requires that the contents and functions of the online shop can be reliably used without restrictions, even when users are using digital aids.

If products for sale in the online shop are subject to their own accessibility requirements, information on accessible use must be provided for such products - as far as available.

5) Available Assistance for Accessible Use

This website meets accessibility requirements through the following measures:

  • Alt texts for images: Images in the online shop are equipped with alternative texts that provide a brief description of the illustration and can be processed by screen readers.
  • Adjustability of color contrast: The color contrast of the page elements can be regulated. It can be increased or decreased.
  • Operability via mouse and keyboard: The online shop functions can be operated both via mouse and keyboard. The keyboard control keys can be used to move and activate the mouse pointer in the online shop.
  • Browser-independent page output: Contents and functions of this website are available in identical arrangement, orientation, and resolution regardless of the browser used.
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used that separates the presentation of page content in layout, color, and design from its content structure. This allows digital aids to use their own visibility schemes to present the page content.
  • Verified correctness of HTML codes: All HTML codes are continuously checked for their functionality to exclude malfunctions and the lack of detectability by digital aids.
  • Sufficient spacing between characters: Characters are displayed with sufficient spacing from each other to avoid impairing readability.
  • Compatibility with screen readers: The contents of the online shop are compatible with all common screen readers and can be read and processed by them.
  • Responsive design (adaptation to different screen sizes): The content, elements, and functions automatically adjust their dimensions to the size of the screen used.
  • Scalability (visibility when enlarged): Page elements and content remain readable in high resolution even when enlarged.
  • Strong color contrast: A strong contrast between text colors and backgrounds can be optionally set (via the button at the top right) to ensure optimal visibility of the page elements.
  • Text hints for unfilled input fields: If mandatory input fields are not filled out, a textual hint is provided in addition to a color marking. This hint clarifies what information is missing in the input field.
